This role suits someone who is equally comfortable in a stakeholder workshop and in front of a data model or process diagram.

•     Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders across product, engineering, and external partners.

•     Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

•     Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with internal teams and external clients.

•     Produce and maintain business process documentation, including as-is/to-be process maps, workflows, and data flow diagrams.

•     Support product owners and project managers with backlog grooming, prioritization, and scope definition.

•     Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement or automation.

•     Work with engineering teams during development to clarify requirements, review deliverables, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

•     Prepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and reports to support decision-making.

•     Support contract and proposal documentation, including scope definitions, pricing justifications, and technical partnership agreements.

•     Track project milestones and ensure delivered functionality aligns with agreed requirements.

•     3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.

•     Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps).

•     Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams, including backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar).

•     Proficiency in process modeling notations (e.g., BPMN) and diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, or similar).

•     Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.

•     Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.

•     Experience conducting or supporting UAT and validating delivered functionality against requirements.

•     Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

•     Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

•     Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate documentation, requirement analysis, or research.

•     Familiarity with SQL for basic data querying and validation.

•     Exposure to system integration projects, particularly involving APIs, payment gateways, or enterprise systems.

•     Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to review wireframes or prototypes critically.

•     Familiarity with contract, tender, or proposal documentation for enterprise or government clients.

•     Basic understanding of software architecture concepts to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

•     Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio) for reporting.

•     Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce clear, structured documentation.

•     Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

•     Curious and proactive - able to ask the right questions to uncover real business needs.

•     Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements.

•     Collaborative and diplomatic, able to align stakeholders with differing priorities.

•     Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Smatech Group is seeking a Multimedia & Content Intern to support the production of high-quality visual and editorial content for our corporate communications, campaigns, events and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with video production, filming and editing.
• Capture professional photographs and video for events, interviews and company activities.
• Assist in conducting interviews, research and story development.
• Write and edit articles, profiles, scripts, captions and other editorial content.
• Support the production of corporate videos, promotional material and multimedia stories.
• Assist with production planning, including shoot preparation, equipment and content organisation.
• Research industry stories and identify opportunities for relevant multimedia coverage.

Requirements

• Studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Media & Journalism, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film & Television, Broadcasting, Communication or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of videography, photography, interviewing, writing and video editing.
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop or similar.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Creative, curious, organised and willing to learn.
• Portfolio or examples of previous media work are an advantage.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years' experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Key Account Management or a similar senior sales role.
• Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proven experience selling enterprise technology, software, ICT solutions or professional services.
• A well-established network of corporate decision-makers and business leaders.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
• Ability to develop opportunities from prospecting through to contract signing.
• A degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is an added advantage.
