Job description

The Role

We are looking for a candidate who can push community growth who will sit at the intersection of sales, business development, and community engagement. This is a high-impact, hybrid role for a professional who thrives on closing deals and building lasting relationships. You will be responsible for executing aggressive outbound acquisition strategies while simultaneously nurturing our ecosystem of users and partners. You are the external face of Smatech and the voice of our brand to the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of all company social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to ensure consistent brand presence
  • Draft engaging social media content and copy
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content calendars in close collaboration with the Creative Director to align social output with broader campaign goals
  • Execute aggressive outbound sales strategies, including cold outreach and lead generation, to acquire new business partners
  • Drive measurable audience growth and engagement through targeted organic strategies and active community interaction
  • Manage and nurture relationships with our existing community of users and stakeholders to drive retention and loyalty
  • Plan and execute community events (online and physical) and activations that increase brand visibility and user engagement
  • Oversee data entry workflows within our CRM system to ensure all lead data is accurate and actionable
  • Monitor sales automation pipelines to ensure they are functioning correctly and optimising conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure sales assets and community content align with current market needs
  • Report directly to the executive team on acquisition metrics and community health

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing corporate social media accounts and driving measurable audience growth
  • Proven track record in B2B and B2C sales, business development, or community management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to manage high-level stakeholder relationships
  • Experience using modern CRM systems (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Odoo) to manage sales pipelines
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech-savvy mindset with an ability to quickly learn new software tools
  • Experience in handling social media growth and online community building
